Vienna smArt Invest was founded in Austria by Georgios V. Stergiopoulos in 2022.
With more than a decade of experience in the international art market, Georgios has successfully participated in numerous private transactions involving fine art, rare collectibles, diamonds, and other alternative investment assets.
After relocating from Greece to Vienna with his family, he established Vienna smArt Invest with a clear vision: to create a professional, transparent, and trusted environment where collectors, investors, and private clients can access carefully selected investment opportunities while avoiding the risks often associated with unverified intermediaries.

Georgios V. Stergiopoulos is the Founder and Managing Director of Vienna smArt Invest, an independent boutique advisory firm headquartered in Vienna, Austria, specializing in alternative investments, fine art, rare collectibles, investment-grade diamonds, and private acquisitions.
His career reflects an uncommon combination of entrepreneurial experience, luxury hospitality leadership, strategic negotiation, and a lifelong passion for tangible assets that preserve and create wealth.
Born in Greece in 1983, Georgios grew up in a family with business interests in manufacturing, real estate, and private collecting. From an early age, he was exposed to entrepreneurship, negotiations, and the importance of long-term value over short-term speculation.
Like many entrepreneurs, his journey was not defined by uninterrupted success. Early business setbacks became the foundation of his philosophy: sustainable wealth is built through discipline, patience, rigorous research, and sound judgment—not through speculation.
Instead of following a conventional corporate career, Georgios deliberately sought environments where excellence was expected every day. Over the years, he held leadership positions within some of Greece’s most prestigious hospitality establishments, serving distinguished international guests while refining skills in operations, negotiation, client relations, crisis management, and discretion.
This experience shaped one of his defining principles:

Alongside his executive career, Georgios pursued entrepreneurial ventures, including the establishment of a premium hospitality business in central Athens. Managing his own business strengthened his commercial insight, strategic thinking, and appreciation for disciplined capital allocation.
Throughout this journey, however, his greatest passion remained the world of alternative investments.
For more than a decade, Georgios has dedicated himself to studying the international markets for fine art, investment-grade diamonds, rare collectibles, and other tangible assets. His work extends beyond transactions and focuses on understanding provenance, authenticity, valuation, market behaviour, liquidity, timing, and the long-term preservation of capital.
Following his relocation to Vienna, Austria, in 2022 with his family, Georgios founded Vienna smArt Invest with a clear purpose:
